Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Field Support Technician, to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

CLEARANCE

• TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph (existing clearance required to start)

LOCATION

• Annapolis Junction, MD

OVERVIEW

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software.
• Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
• Provide remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites.
• Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow up on issues brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure.
• Modify, move, and install new equipment.
• Perform technical tasks and provide site support.
• Conduct integrity testing and interview customers to gather information about issues.
• Interface with Tier 2 technical support and Availability Management teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Perform Data Transfer Agent tasks to transfer files between networks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Mandatory:
  • Hardware installation, maintenance, and repair expertise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Software Applications and Windows System Administration.
  • Experience with remote desktop administration.
  • Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Position requires lifting equipment weighing 20-30 pounds, walking, standing, pushing, and pulling.
  • Must work around, under, and over desks, with professional personal interactions with customers.
  • Some travel required, including to Texas four times per year for COOP exercises and during unplanned emergencies.
  • Education:
    • High School or GED with 15 years of experience; or
    • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience.
• Certifications:
  • IAT Level 2 certification required.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE.
