Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Entra ID / Active Directory Engineer, to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

OVERVIEW

• Lead and oversee the migration of Entra ID and Active Directory services to Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms.
• Develop and implement strategies, processes, and procedures for the effective migration of Entra ID and Active Directory to the cloud.
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to assess current on-premises environments, identify migration requirements, and establish migration timelines.
• Ensure the readiness and compatibility of on-premises systems for cloud integration and migration.
• Design and implement security measures, policies, and controls to safeguard Entra ID and Active Directory services in the cloud environment.
• Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and reliability of Entra ID and Active Directory services in the cloud.
• Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Entra ID and Active Directory services.
• Conduct training and knowledge sharing sessions to educate IT teams and end-users on new cloud-based Entra ID and Active Directory functionalities.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Entra ID, Active Directory, M365, and Azure technologies.
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners as needed to support migration and ongoing operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Mandatory:
  • Proven experience as an Entra ID Engineer, Active Directory Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on cloud migration and Azure integration.
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Entra ID and Active Directory services in both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Experience with identity federation, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and configuration management tasks.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms, including identity management, authentication mechanisms, and security controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Education:
    • High School or GED with 25 years of experience; or
    • Bachelor's degree with 20 years of experience.
• Certifications:
  • IAT Level 2 certification required.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE.
