Overview
Develop, test, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, templates, and automation workflows
Automate the deployment, configuration, patching, and management of Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems
Support hardened Red Hat Enterprise Linux images and automated security configuration pipelines
Use Red Hat Satellite to manage repositories, content, system registration, patching, and lifecycle environments
Automate the installation and configuration of applications including: ServiceNow, Splunk, GitLab, Corelight Fleet Manager, Vine, RunZero, Carbon Black, HashiCorp Vault
Prepare and configure virtual machines for application installation and operational use
Support automation across VMware infrastructure and other customer hosted platforms
Integrate Ansible Automation Platform with ServiceNow to automate infrastructure and service requests
Develop automation supporting Carbon Black configuration, hardened system components, and security controls
Maintain automation code and deployment artifacts within customer managed Git repositories
Support disconnected, isolated, and classified network enclaves where external repositories and enterprise services may be unavailable
Assist with software supply chain management and the movement of approved content into classified environments
Support system testing, security validation, accreditation activities, and authorization to operate submissions
Troubleshoot automation failures, operating system issues, repository problems, and application deployment errors
Create technical documentation, operating procedures, architecture diagrams, and knowledge transfer materials
Collaborate with Red Hat, VMware, ServiceNow, security, infrastructure, and application engineering teams
Qualifications
5 years of Linux systems administration, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation experience.
2 years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite, or Ansible Automation Platform.
Experience creating and maintaining Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and reusable automation content.
Experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux migrations.
Experience managing RPM-based applications, repositories, patching, and deployment processes.
Experience supporting FIPS-enabled systems and security-controlled Linux environments.
Experience working in disconnected or air-gapped environments.
Experience developing technical roadmaps, implementation plans, runbooks, and operational documentation.
Experience troubleshooting Linux operating systems, packages, automation, repositories, and platform integrations.
Strong technical leadership, documentation, communication, and knowledge transfer skills.
Active security clearance and site access as required by the customer.
Nice To Have
Red Hat certification or equivalent vendor experience.
Experience supporting classified, disconnected, or mission-critical infrastructure environments.
