Overview
Support enterprise Linux engineering, automation, platform modernization, and application deployment initiatives.
Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite, and Ansible Automation Platform.
Support automation content development, RPM application patching and deployment, RHEL migration, FIPS-enabled systems, disconnected content delivery, implementation planning, documentation, and customer knowledge transfer.
Provide subject matter expertise for Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite, and Ansible Automation Platform.
Assess current Linux environments and develop implementation-ready technical roadmaps.
Design, develop, test, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, templates, and automation workflows.
Support installation, configuration, integration, administration, and troubleshooting of Ansible Automation Platform.
Support Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and 9 migration planning, testing, remediation, and execution.
Support Red Hat Satellite configuration, content management, lifecycle environments, activation keys, repositories, and patching processes.
Plan and execute RPM-based application packaging, patching, deployment, rollback, and validation activities.
Support configuration and maintenance of FIPS-enabled Red Hat systems.
Develop methods for delivering software, patches, repositories, automation content, and dependencies in disconnected or air-gapped environments.
Troubleshoot operating system, package, repository, automation, authentication, and integration issues.
Develop technical overviews, architecture recommendations, implementation procedures, runbooks, and operational documentation.
Conduct technical reviews, demonstrations, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, network, and customer operations teams.
Support validation, operational readiness, transition, and post-implementation stabilization activities.
Qualifications
5 years of Linux systems administration, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation experience.
2 years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite, or Ansible Automation Platform.
Experience creating and maintaining Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and reusable automation content.
Experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux migrations.
Experience managing RPM-based applications, repositories, patching, and deployment processes.
Experience supporting FIPS-enabled systems and security-controlled Linux environments.
Experience working in disconnected or air-gapped environments.
Experience developing technical roadmaps, implementation plans, runbooks, and operational documentation.
Experience troubleshooting Linux operating systems, packages, automation, repositories, and platform integrations.
Strong technical leadership, documentation, communication, and knowledge transfer skills.
Active security clearance and site access as required by the customer.
Nice To Have
Red Hat certification or equivalent vendor experience.
Experience supporting classified, disconnected, or mission-critical infrastructure environments.
