Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Software Developer, to join our team in Chantilly, VA

Clearance

• Active TS/SCI W/ CI Polygraph (existing clearance required to start)

Location

• Chantilly, VA

Overview

• Develop Java APIs using Spring Boot

• Integrate a Spring Boot application with external APIs from third parties

• Collaborate with the database team to map models to PostgreSQL tables

• Work with the infrastructure team to deploy codebase to webservers

• Promote new or improved development practices to enhance craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability

• Demonstrate new features and functionality to the customer

• Write and execute unit tests for new and existing Java code

• Provide documentation and assist with deliverables related to backend functionality and user workflows

• Help create user stories and features for current and future work

• Support frontend team during integration with backend REST API calls

• Contribute to analysis efforts, identification, and recommendation of solutions, integration points, and implementation architecture for business usage improvements, scalability, and performance

• Provide guidance to less experienced developers and administrators through code reviews, solution design, and training/development recommendations

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience

• Team Delivery Mentality

• Experience with:

  • Angular 15

  • Git/GitLab

  • Bootstrap

  • Angular Material

  • Cypress

• Knowledge of JIRA and/or Confluence

Nice To Have

• Scrum, SaFE, and Kanban experience

• BA/BS degree or higher

• AWS experience and/or knowledge

• Apache PDFBox

• Junit

• Integration of Data Analytics Dashboard Tools

• Integration of Data Governance and Management tools

• AWS DevOps and/or AWS Certified Practitioner certification
